We like to do the rollover as early in the Summer holidays as possible, but do not want to release the next academic year's timetable and form information to pupils prior to September (but do want staff to have access to it).
To keep the timetable/form information confidential we have disabled a number of the APIs to third party websites/services that pupils/parents can access from home, and will reenable at the end of the holidays. This is not ideal.
As part of the rollover, would it be possible to have the ability to move the staff/teachers into the next academic year (2025/26) at the start of the holidays, but restrict pupil's to the current/previous academic year (2024/25) until September when we give them access/move them into the next academic year?
Whilst using WCBS's 3Sys, at a previous school, 3Sys had a drop-down list of academic years which we could jump between if wanted. Something similar to this would be great, particularly if we can control access for staff and for pupils/parents separately (for both logging into iSAMS via the iSAMS website and for the APIs syncing out to third parties).
